2024 Highlights
Welcome Semester Drinks​
The 2024 Welcome Drinks was a great success with over 40 attendees, who came along to meet the WIF team, other like-minded students, and network with our fabulous sponsors, Cambridge Associates, CitiBank and Pinnacle, and partner, Goldman Sachs. Among delicious food and drinks, students were able to get to know one another, and ask insightful questions to industry professionals about their journey and career experience in the world of finance!
International Women's Day Pizza
WIF's International Women's Day Event was a resounding success. Collaborating with other societies WiT, WAMSOC, SUWIE and WISSOC, the event brought together individuals passionate about advancing gender equality in their respective industries. Here we raised our glasses to celebrate the remarkable achievements of women spanning countless fields and progress towards equality.
Panel Event - Planting Seeds: Establishing Strong Roots in Finance
​WIF’s first panel event for the year was an absolute success! We had the privilege to hear from leading professionals Katherine Ward, Tammy Wat and Scarlett Dorney from Cambridge Associates, Citibank and MSCI Inc., learning about their experience as women in the finance industry and their top tips for entering and thriving in their respective fields.
